Plastics in The Ocean

platic-bottles.jpgThe University of Plymouth in England has done some research about plastic poisoning  the seas of the world.

Seawater breaks down plastic into very small pieces which are then in the water and all sealife are at risk of eating it which could then be passed onto humans when we eat it.

Drinks bottles, carrier bags and other plastic rubbish is not bio-degradeable and takes hundreds of years to break down.
